Good food and good service.

Oysters are amazing and fish and chips are delicious! Our waitress was very nice and attentive.

A hidden gem, the food is always good there.

Great food. My girlfriend loves the fish and clam chowder. Quiet, homey atmosphere. One of my favorite places.

Bit over priced, but great food and our waitress was on it, we had a huge 15 plus group. Excellent fish and chips. Great atmosphere, wouldn't know it was there if someone hadn't told me. Hidden Gems.

This pub atmosphere and menu are just what you would experience in the UK. There is a good selection of beers perfectly made fish & chips, friendly staff. I love this place! You can tell they know how to do fish & chips when there is malt vinegar on the table, the tartar sauce is important too. I’d post a pic but it’s all gone 🙈My wife loved the Ruben.

Very friendly staff, a place you can have a drink and bring your kids. They have recently re-done their outside dining area and it is very nice. Food is always good, not a complicated menu. A good place to go for a nice burger or sandwich, they also have some pretty nice specials as well, including sea food. I will say my partner wasn't impressed with the fish and chips...but I have been going by for several years now and have never had a complaint about the food. They have a pool table and several HD TV's playing sports and at first it feels stiff but once you meet the waitress/server, they do a good job of being friendly and making it feel homely. A great place to make your regular stop by after work for a drink and a nibble. Overall, good food, nice staff, good happy hour from 3-6. It's a nice place to stop by and try if you have never been, you won't be disappointed.

We usually eat in the downtown area of My. Vernon but gave Gene's a try and were pleased with the menu variety and the friendly service. The calm strips and French dip were tasty.

Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Best clam chowder my husband has ever had. We drive up from Mountlake Terrace just for the chowder.

Delicious fish n chips! They could use a sound system or hook the TVs up for Bingo nights. Hard to hear the numbers being shouted.

Good food, okayish service. Those with shellfish allergies they do fry all the fish and shellfish together in the same fryer and everthing else in another, this was my biggest concern.

A gathering post memorial service was reason for going there. Bar server came and took orders regularly. Always good service and good food here.

We have been here three times now and we are always amazed by their food. Their fish and chips are amazing. I have also had their Hawaiian burger and it was amazing as well. Very friendly place.

Great food and very friendly staff.

Gone in a few times and it's a so-so kind of place. Food is good, but a little pricey for what you get and drinks are about the same. Service is nice polite and relatively quick. Lots of seating, clean bathroom, plenty of parking, quiet atmosphere, and offers 1 pool table. Not bad if you are just looking for a bite to eat with a cooler friends and some drinks, but not recommended if looking for drinks and stuff to do.

For the location and price and the staff 5 stars. They have multiple TVs a pool table a new style juke box that u can pay 1$ fo a song. They serve food till 11pm and close on 12pm on the weekdays. The burgers are normal size and the sandwiches are a nice portion on the bigger side as well. Then the sampler was EXTREMELY small especially for 15$ it was even smaller than pur entrees and cost more as well. Loved our bartender/waitress very great relaxed vibe.

Best fish n chips in the valley!

Your pretty standard bar with a large family dining area. Open and well lit, it has a nice feel. We sat in their elevated bar section and had a couple of burgers. Nothing special either way. I've had way better, and way worse, the food will fill the bill. The locals were friendly, and easy to talk to, which is always a plus.
